Course Aims:

This course provides delegates with comprehensive training in the operation, maintenance, and safety protocols associated with power plant tools used in railway environments.

Participants will gain practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for efficient and safe management of power tools supporting railway operations.

Learning Objectives:

On completion of the course delegates will be able to :

1. Undertake inspection and pre-start checks.

• Perform starting and stopping procedures.
• Demonstrate the safe use of the tool.
• State how to deal with defective equipment.
• State the safety requirements for refueling of the Small Plant tools and equipment.
